I am currently completing my studies at Kennesaw State University where I will be obtaining a degree in Saxophone Performance. I began assisting teachers during high school for extra credit. It later became my job during Full Sail. I worked extensively with grades K-5 on reading, writing and math skills enrichment. When I graduated I started to see my joy was working with children and helping each individual get to their own "next level" and that is when I began teaching music privately. I encourage my students to enter competitions and recitals of which I help with the prep for and can conduct them there if need be.  Read More

My teaching approach begins by meeting the students where they are in regards to musical capability. We soon push the boundaries of what they think they are capable of and allows them to apply the music theory in real time. These vary from various Honors Bands, the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra, and many High Valued Scholarships. One of my greatest joys have always been to see my students make progress and express how happy they are with themselves after working hard, and this is one of my greatest motivations to teach and give teaching all that I've got. As a private studio instructor, I encourage my students to keep detailed notes of our lessons and record their practice sessions and discoveries in that same note book for this helps with organization and focus, thus eliminating the need for aimless practicing and playing of ones instrument.
