While getting my Masters in Music, I assisted teaching Music Theory at the University of Iowa. From there,I taught classes of students at the West Bank School Of Music in Minneapolis. From the Midwest to the Southwest: I taught students at Los Angeles schools and privately there also. Typically with beginner students I work through the Alfred's Piano series (Adult and Children) and we focus on performance, technique, ergonomics, theory, and ear training. If a student wishes to work on composition or music production, after a proper foundation, we can explore that as well.
