When I graduated from UTSA with my degree in IDS and a Specialization in Music I took a job as a 3rd grade elementary school teacher, but continued to teach piano part time. While in college, I maintained two dozen or so students within my own private studio. Some of these students were non-music majors that were given to me by my own voice professor.
