For jazz improvisation students, iRealPro, The Real Book and Jamey Abersolds ii-V-I book (Volume 3). In addition to these method books, I also like to stress the importance of sight reading; books like Alan Raphs Dance Band book and other solo repertoire provide good sight reading training. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of music and teaching piano. I am patient with the students and let them progress at their own speed. With children, I also play musical themed games to keep their interest. I get along very well the the students and enjoy teaching them.
