I teaches students ages 3 and up. Here are my teaching materials; I teach scales,Blue scales, triad, arpeggios, sight reading, diatonic, theory in music and Suzuki method music. Students will also have opportunity to choose the kind of music they love to to such as Jazz, RB, Hiphop, Gospel music etc. Ages 5-7 students have the same opportunity too but Its will be coming from , Teaching Little Fingers. I started teaching at the age of 18. I taught teenagers about music theory, and how to apply it with an instrument that each teenager would be interested in. I made it fun for every teenager. I liked teaching teenagers about the importance of music. I have been teaching the students for 2 years. My music career started at the age five. I started small group piano lessons and theory classes. I continued lessons through elementary school and would perform at recitals. In the third grade I joined my school district's orchestra. My instrument of choice was the violin. I played in the orchestra until I graduated from elementary school and started private lessons in high school. My high school did not have an orchestra so I joined the concert band and started playing the flute. Read More

Highlights of my artistic endeavors as a countertenor include casting Nerone in Claudio Monteverdis Lincoronazione di Poppea with Lyric Theatre at Illinois, soloing in G. F. Handels Messiah with Sinfonia da Camera Chamber Orchestra, and soloing with Concerto Urbano Baroque Ensemble. I began teaching while I was in High School and I would teach the younger students who were freshman and sophomores the tenor saxophone. Once I went to Eastman, I taught several people throughout the course of the four years there. I beleive that, particulalry when teaching the saxophone and flute, a mix of classical fundamental technique is very important as well as incorporating the jazz or rock repertoire. I feel that my skills as a music therapist can be very unique particularly because I can really attend to the needs of the student and adapt the music and lesson accordingly. Read More
