I believe teaching theory in tandem with technique is crucial, and have found that my students do best when they understand the theoretical underpinnings of a new work they are learning. VOICE: The voice is my principal instrument and I prefer to take on only serious students no younger than 13. I started lessons at the age of 3 and have been active in music ever since. I was in the band in high school, and the piano ensemble during college. I graduated with High Honors from DePaul University with a BA in Music and have been teaching individual music lesson ever since.
