I was born in China and started to learn the piano from 5 years old. I performed on the stage when she was 8 and was admitted by the Music Middle School of Tianjin Conservatory at the age of 12. During the time in this professional school, I was majoring in piano performance and classical composition under Professor Han Fang and Wang Yi Bo; I played in a variety of concerts (include solo, concerto, duo piano, and piano accompaniment) and competitions, and got different awards in those competitions. I have been a private lessons instructor since 2006. The instruments I have taught include: piano, harp, saxophone, and clarinet with an emphasis on classical music. I have also worked as an elementary general music teacher since 2014. Our curriculum includes developing knowledge and skills in performance (vocal/ instrumental), literacy, history, composition, appreciation and evaluation.
