I believe that all students deserve to have a relationship with music. I am currently a Junior at Bradley University and am studying music education. Since 2009 I have participated in numerous musicals, operas, and ensembles and have had many leadership and teaching roles within these experiences such as directing, choreographing, and teaching music, as well as coordinating schedules and communicating with cast/ensemble members, faculty, and parents. A short time later, after being hired as an accompanist at a local string studio, I was hired as a string teacher within the studio, where I taught for several years.
