I am a multifaceted musician, music producer, composer and instrumentalist with diverse musical experience spanning many genres and styles. I graduated from Bard College in 2016 with a degree in music composition. While at Bard, I was involved with the opera workshop and the audio engineering crew. I started regularly teaching private lessons in 2019. I worked at the Wilmette Parks District, the Park District of Highland Park, Dynamic Music, and as a freelance teacher. I also was a music director for the Wilmette Children's Theatre, the Florida Repertory Theatre, and Highland Park's summer programming. I've been playing guitar since I was eight, piano since I was twelve, and I've been singing my whole life. My work with the DCYOP, an El-Sistema inspired program, involves teaching the basics of playing the violin, viola, cello and music theory, adjudicating students’ progress, leading sectionals and full rehearsals in various DC schools, some from the most underserved communities. Highlights are having all the different schools come together for a large performance at the Kennedy Center and the students performances with Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell and Esperanza Spalding. I’ve also facilitated many youth orchestra performances and summer camps as string teaching artist in DC and Maryland showcasing that I can motivate the students to a high quality performance regardless of the amount of time.
