For younger students (under eight years old) I usually use the Alfred all in one book.. for older children, I use the Bastian set of four books: piano performance, technic and theory. My methods are largely based on learning the basics of theory and how to apply it intuitively in music (no matter what genre). I teach this at a patient pace, with teaching diatonic scales first, then transcending those scales into arpeggiated patterns. In 2013, I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Peck School of the Arts. I honed my craft of private teaching and also specializing in Balkan folk works, arranged for flute and secondary woodwinds. In 2019, I extended these skills over into Vocalism: singing, beatboxing, rapping, and spoken word. Ergo, my best work to date is an original composition called "LatinAmerica".
