For the youngest beginners, my focus is on the enjoyment of music. Using either The Music Tree or My First Piano Adventures, I teach children about the elements of music and how to appreciate music, before going into actual technical work on the piano. Depending on the instrument, I will bring in another method book specific to that instrument book and we will also use some sort of etude book. I started growing my studio when I was in school, about 7 years ago, I was teaching at soundboard music in Stow, Ohio.
