I have been teaching since 2017. I started off with private lessons in St. Augustine, FL, then proceeded to join the Community School of Music at Stetson University as a Student Teacher in 2017. After graduating from Stetson in 2019, I stayed and taught as a Faculty Teacher at the Community School of Music, having more students. During my tenure, I taught students from four to 85 years old. For younger children, my methods involve using the Alfred series as the staple of the course, but I also incorporate games and some other things into the lesson to make it fun. For intermediate and Advanced students, it is a completely customized lesson plan to the individual so I can't really say what direction we take before I have had the chance to sit down and analyze their individual needs. I am a passionate and devoted piano teacher with a real love of music and a strong desire to pass my knowledge onto others. I took seven years of piano lessons in grade school and graduated from Florida State College with an Associate of Arts in Music degree. I also played piano in the Charlton County High School Jazz Ensemble and at the United Methodist Church.
