We identify key elements and styles within that genre of music that their interest in. Then I construct a specific lesson plan geared towards that particular style. I believe that it is the teacher duty not only to impart the wisdom expected of them, but to also guide the students in their academic endeavors. While I understand that each and every student is unique in their learning and progress, I will always strive to push my students forward and sometimes out of their comfort zones as to be better performers, better musicians, and better people.
