I work with each student to find songs which are appropriate for their voice, and songs they are excited about working on. I haven't had much teaching experience, but I have worked with teenagers throughout this last year while getting my Associates of Arts degree over at Lone Star Community College. My high school choir director asked me if I would like to start helping out high school students with providing voice lessons, and of course, I said yes. These books can use up to intermediate students and some easy solo pieces from the trombone gems collection by H.A. VanderCook. For intermediate to advanced students playing trombone for more than two years, I would use Melodious Etudes for Trombone Selected from the Vocalises of Marco Bordogni book one and Arban Complete Method for Trombone and Euphonium.
