I love to interact with students and help them achieve their personal goals. As mentioned previously, I believe its really important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this concept by working to set achievable goals for my students. Also I work to better understand and find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. There are certain ideas and concepts that generally apply to all musical styles and I do try to introduce these in a variety of ways based on the student. Read More

There is nothing more rewarding than to see a student develop a passion for music! This is something that takes time to develop. I encourage students to set goals, both short and long term. I have found that one of the best ways to teach, is to teach a student to teach themselves. Then they will work to broaden their own horizons, introduce the teacher to new material that they might not have heard about without their students. Read More

I believe that learning how to sing must take place in the studio, but the most important thing that I can do as a teacher is to make sure that the student knows how to transfer the skills learned in the classroom to real-world performing experiences. APPROACH I believe in a holistic approach to teaching, which involves connection to the text and acting. Though I cover many of these aspects in the studio, it is extremely beneficial for students to go outside of the studio and engage in physical courses such as yoga, Alexander technique, acting and dance. My teaching experience dates back to my high school days, as I rose to become section leader of the clarinet section in band and section leader of the alto section in choir. Since then, I have been teaching private lessons to students of all different ages and skill levels, as well as individuals with disabilities. Encouraging practice schedules and routine is something I like to emphasize in younger students. I aim to bring my students individual musical interests into our class as that tends to keep them more engaged. Read More

We will work on proper breathing, support (they are different), “placement of the voice”, verticality of the sound and vowel modification. Although proper singing is similar for everyone it isn’t exactly the same for everyone. Read More

I began teaching music when I was 18, I began teaching private drums and piano lessons in my home studio, I've been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 7 years. Upon graduation, I got my first music teacher position at Rishon Lezion conservatory, I taught private saxophone, flute, drums, and piano lessons as well as group music theory lessons and directed students ensembles. I have learned through the years what a great impact a teacher as on his students and how important it is to give students a fun, encouraging experience. Read More

My teaching style can be shaped around what the student is looking to learn. I do stress in my lessons the importance of consistency of practice. 15 mins everyday is much more rewarding than 3 hours in one day. I like to write out everything that I explain in my classes to my students so that they have a reference of what they are learning. Also, I am a strong believer of singing the notes that the student is playing, especially in scale studies. Read More
