I was a percussion major in college then spent a few years in Austin Texas traveling with country, rock and blues bands. Have played on over 20 records. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student develop the same passion for music that I have. It is very important to me that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting goals at each lesson, by a deadline, etc. Acknowledging accomplisments helps fuel a students desire to progress and makes them eager to learn more. Finding what inspires the student is the best possible way to tailor each lesson to their wants and needs. Read More

I am highly enthusiastic and believe that every one learns at their own pace. Its never about how quickly you learn something, but about how well you learn it, even if it takes time. I like to acknowledge the students progress and their accomplishments because I believe it helps the student to have the desire to keep learning and progressing. Read More
