I tend to start my lessons with discussing what has brought the student to their instrument, and what music they love. After learning about their hopes and goals, I start teaching from a technical perspective to help them get a handle on their instruments. From there I discuss practice techniques, music and guides to listen to, and start teaching them songs and repertoire they are passionate about. I love incorporating listening, writing, and seeing live music into a student's learning experience. Read More

I am using Walter Giseking-Karl Leimer methods. The first text book is "The School of Piano playing" by prof. Also from the first lessons me and student will play in 4 hands, and student will learn how to accompany and improvise from very first lessons, which is the favorite part of lessons for all my students! As long as a student is eager and willing to learn and practice I will put everything I have into making sure they complete their musical goals! Read More

Younger students begin learning from the Abracadbra flute book, progressing to solo repertoire and exercises as they progress. Read More
