After I graduated at Manhattan School of Music, I have made my debut as Mezzo soloist in Mozart’s Coronation Mass at Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall in New York , as well as Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy at Carnegie Hall. My teaching experience started at the School of Rock and I loved it ever since. I continued to improve on my teaching ability as an English Teacher in China. I lead some group lessons at "Group Expression" in Shanghai; working with non native English speakers. The skills learned as an English teacher have helped immensily with communicating with students on how to better approach their singing. It offers simple, effective patterns for developing technique, skill, and vocabulary. It can be used intensively or casually as we borrow concepts and patterns to work with.
