All curriculum is based on age, so that it will help students learn at their own pace and level. Once the student gets to a certain point, I start adding in fun pieces that the child suggest, or might like, to add to what he or she is already learning. I encourage consistent and regular practicing with my students because that is how one succeeds at playing an instrument. I teach students based on their own individual development and pace, but I do push them so that they can improve and become better musicians.
