After basic musical skills have been developed I'll move on to more interesting solo pieces based on the interests and needs of the students. I am a passionate and professional music teacher who has been teaching music for over a decade. I learned guitar at the age of fifteen and never stopped learning! I was in both the Marching Band and high school varsity band during the mid 2000s and after that I recorded an acoustic album which features both my guitar playing and singing. I love working with younger students because it's important to remind them of the importance of exercising your vocal chords properly. I also discuss the importance of eating the right healthy foods to maintain a healthy voice and lifestyle. I often invite the students to my events to encourage them to continue to be disciplined and learn all they can while they're young. I love music and have studied piano since I was six years old.  I also studied organ and clarinet briefly.  My degrees are in Psychology and Communications.  I worked for state and federal government agencies and was a writer and producer for CNN/Atlanta for ten years.  I enjoy teaching piano and now have six students ranging in age from 4 to 36 years of age.  I also enjoy tennis and am a former law student, but found the latter not to my liking.
