I like to keep the guitar lessons fun. Because my first experience with learning guitar/guitar lessons (when I was 9 years old) was very boring (just learning from a guitar method) I work at trying to make music fun. I'm an expert at learning songs from the original recordings so I show the student the songs and music they want to learn/play. Right from the first lesson I show real music examples and songs the student loves. Read More
Instruments: Violin
I am a teacher dedicated to sharing my love and knowledge of music and the violin. In May 2014, I graduated from the Baldwin Wallace conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance. Since graduation, I have performed with multiple orchestras such as the Springfield Symphony Orchestra (Ohio), Richmond Symphony Orchestra (Indiana), the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, the Ohio Valley Symphony, and the Middletown Symphony (Ohio). Since my teenage years, I have taught over 30 students age 4 through varying adult ages. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone Clarinet
I'm a motivated instructor of both clarinet and saxophone. I have been teaching full time for the past 22 years working with different schools and studios. I currently teach both saxophone and clarinet in a nearby public school during the day. Students have the option of taking lessons during the school day instead of after school. I enjoy playing in area ensembles and have worked with the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony as a woodwind coach for the past 6 years, I hold both a bachelor of music education and early childhood degrees. Instruments: Guitar Bass Guitar Bassoon Music Electric Guitar Acoustic Guitar
My music experience began in 5th grade when I started playing the Bassoon for the school orchestra. I then picked up Bass guitar and performed alongside the Pep band and the Jazz band and continued my practice with both all the way through college. After college I began making my own music and currently have 5 albums out between the numerous projects Ive involved myself with. I began teaching during college and continue to do so almost everyday, always finding ways to further my education and career. Read More

Every student needs to be approached differently. I take every student at their pace knowing that students can be burned out if they progress too quickly or become bored if they arent challenged. Modern middle and high schoolers can be very busy and it is not productive to give them too much than they can handle. I see it as one of my primary responsibilities to keep the student engaged, focused, and motivated. Read More
Instruments: Guitar
I believe each student is unique, and aim to help the student fall deeper in love with the guitar by meeting them where they are at with their own interests and desires with the instrument. I have had multiple different instructors throughout my life, and some of them seem to have had their own agenda and what they wanted me to be learning. I instead prefer to understand what the students goals are with the guitar, and devise lesson plans based on what each student hopes to gain from taking lessons. Read More
Instruments: Piano
I've been teaching since 2006 at Baldwin - Wallace College, where I became an Adjunct Lecturer in Piano by the recommendation of the piano pedagogy faculty in 2007. When in town, I've been teaching students primarily from ages 5-25, in traditional repertory and to help other older musicians hone specific skills. I've taught students who have played in recitals, church services; including students who composed music that appeared in the Cannes International Film Festival, and students who wished to only play privately. I pride myself in my strong technique which I credit to my background with the Cleveland Institute of Music, which is one of the biggest benefits that my students quickly take on. I specialize in teaching classical music, and I also teach basic jazz and pop improvisation, to all ages. Read More
