For students who are just beginning, I typically start with Alfreds Drum Method Book 1. Mostly for learning basic music notaion and theory. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I begin to introduce drum set music notation and theory from the Tommy Igoes Groove Essentials 1.0 book. I have worked with beginner and intermediate bassoon students, beginner, intermediate and advanced flute students.
