I am a multifaceted musician, music producer, composer and instrumentalist with diverse musical experience spanning many genres and styles. I graduated from Bard College in 2016 with a degree in music composition. While at Bard, I was involved with the opera workshop and the audio engineering crew. I play six instruments and am able to teach most of them proficiently. I've collaborated many times with the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles as a coach and collaborative performer with the students. I like to teach one on one with all age groups. I start beginners out on basic methods books to understand them instrument that they are holding and then slowly ease them into more challenging and sophisticated repertoire, including Rochut Etudes, Kopprasch Exercises, Blazhevich, and Blume. My style is relaxed, confident and detailed. I am passionate about the music and love to see my students enjoying the art of expressing themselves and communicating through song. I begin each lesson with yoga, strand deep breathing. I believe that the body should be as free from stress as possible and that my student’s breathing should be as natural and organic as possible.
