I taught group music courses for children ages 4-12 in a seasonal camp for 2 years, and I found out that combining body movements not only helps improve children's singing technique and posture but also makes students enjoy and relax more. Ping is a violist living and performing in Cincinnati, OH. She began her career in Taiwan as a member of a string quartet, choir and orchestra. She was a prize winner on a local radio competition as a string quartet member and performed frequently at National Concert Halls. I will generally start out with well known songs sung by ear, and then depending on the students level help them to learn to read music.
