For beginning students, I usually prefer to use the Suzuki method, as this is the method I grew up on, and I prefer to teach the knowledge that I find useful in the method. However, my lessons are not solely based on my preference, as I identify individual strengths and weaknesses and target those in the sessions. Ability level also has a big role in planning the direction of the lesson, as I do not use Suzuki for advanced students. Read More

I have used many of the pedagogy books, and I know how to find best curriculum for getting students to where they need to be technically and musically. As an orchestral musician, she has been the cello principal for the Cleveland Women Orchestra, Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra and Central Conservatory of Music Chamber Orchestra.
