Hi! My name is Emily and I am a flute performance major at the Cincinnati Conservatory. I am a motivated player and love to share passion of music with others! I have had 3 years of prior experience in teaching and have taught several students in both the Indianapolis and Cincinnati area. My first teaching experience actually begins in my teens when I would teach my little brothers how to play the cello. This has given me important experience in teaching young children from the age as young as 4 years old. From there on I have taught other children and some adults totaling 3 years of total teaching experience. For beginning students who are children, I typically like to start with rudiments and technique studies. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will introduce the Moeller method. Later will move to the drumset and apply all 3 methods and became to develop what I like to call he groove and bass excises and different warm ups.
