It is a succinct, affordable resource that will not leave a student lacking. When I teach any advanced brass player I use Arbans conservatory method, Clarke Technical Studies, and the brass gym. I love the drums! Tapping, beating, thumping on everything around the house drove my parents to sign me up for my first drum lesson when I was 10.  I've been playing ever since!  I studied with Dr. William Albin at Miami Universtiy (Ohio) while in high school as well as with Judy Moonert at Western Michigan University.  I was classically trained at WMU (Orchestra, Symphonic Band, etc.) but was very active playing the drumset for the faculty jazz quartet.
