Although I have been involved in studying and performing music since an early age, I did not teach music much until I retired from my career as a university professor. Since then I have taught for about 10 years total, beginning guitar, ukulele, and piano (beginning through intermediate), first for a music store and later in my home. I have recently moved to Kyle, where I developed my teaching studio, but the Covid pandemic led to my stopping teaching for some time. Read More

My teaching style is to observe each students background. I tend to try approach each student with their own "Language" to make them more easily to understand music theory concepts. Throughout my eight years of teaching, I have found myself constantly learning and growing as a teacher with my students. Read More

I’m a Texas native, from San Antonio! I found music when I was about 11 years old, and I was completely obsessed with Bob Dylan and Bob Marley! Because I couldn’t afford lessons, I learned as much theory as I could online. After playing in some bands in high school, I applied for the music program at Trinity University! I received my BA in Music in 2018, and now, for the past two years I’ve been giving lessons to people of all ages, with a focus in music theory and audio production! Read More
