Instruments: Drums
It's so that they are best set up to now do what they want to do. You can always rely on your teacher for answering questions and supporting your desire to achieve a certain goal. It's also their job to bring new material as a second brain or pair of eyes and ears to unilaterally build you up.or them to assist you. And so with that in mind, I make sure that I acknowledge great work, regardless of the source of the topic being studied; brought forth by the instructor or student. Read More

I am a piano/music teacher with extensive experience of over 45 years. I have been teaching many students over the years in my studio, in their homes, at Temple University – 30 years, in many Music Schools and Conservatories. My students are children 8 years old and older and adults of every age. I am always tailoring my teaching according to the needs and potential of my students. I motivate my students and encourage them to practice consistently and play. I try to convey to my students my love and passion for music and the piano so that they can be inspired and love the music that they practice and play. I encourage my students to play in the recitals I organize and enter competitions to achieve results as well as enjoyment. Read More
Instruments: Piano Guitar Saxophone Clarinet
I started teaching private lessons in college, about four or five years ago. I have taken students on several different instruments, mainly saxophone, piano and guitar. I find that it is important to encourage students to play and practice the type of music they enjoy, and to have fun performing and learning. I also believe that students should play in recitals, bands, and get other performance experiences while taking private lessons in order to improve their overall musicianship. Read More

I make the student the focus of the lesson. I give them my complete attention. When I explain something which is new to the student I always try to have several ways to explain it. I try to keep the lessons feeling upbeat so the student can enjoy them. I do make it clear that practice is needed in order to become accomplished. It is no different from homework that they get from school. Read More
Instruments: Violin Viola
My aspirations as a violin instructor are to enable students to identify, understand, and assess challenges they contend to search for possible solutions. I am a proponent of self-directed learning, and intentionally create situations in class that allow the students to learn through the unconventional approach. I also encourage students to come up with their own exercises and possible solutions for any challenge they encounter. In order to measure their learning, I require students to demonstrate the process of searching for possible solutions in class. Read More
