My teaching style is fast paced and dynamic quickly adapting to the needs of the individual student. I ensure that lessons are fun and that music can be a means of relaxation. I adapt each lesson for the individual, their interests and their needs. I have found that constant encouragement keeps students engaged and eager to learn and to let the music itself challenge the student. When it comes to teaching voice, there is no one way of doing so. Each child learns differently and each child has a different instrument, and it is most important that that be figured out first. I will generally start out with well known songs sung by ear, and then depending on the students level help them to learn to read music.
