I am currently studying Music Education with an Instrumental Band Emphasis at BGSU, and am in my final year of coursework. I student teach in the Fall of 2020. I have had the opportunity to perform in many ensembles at BGSU, including University Choral Society, Concert Band, Wind Symphony, and various chamber groups. For students at the beginning and intermediate levels on all instruments I use the Rubank Method alongside appropriate solo literature for their ability level. It is a succinct, affordable resource that will not leave a student lacking. When I teach any advanced brass player I use Arbans conservatory method, Clarke Technical Studies, and the brass gym.
