In the 10th grade I would often visit my 9th grade science teacher and help her with her class. At 17 I taught a couple adults to read. Each student is different, so I try to personalize their lessons. I like for every student to have at least one solo piece to be working on. When I was 8-years-old my father gave me his old guitar. From then on I spent most of my free time playing and learning music. I enrolled in structured lessons when I was 12 until I went to Berklee College of Music for a year's time. Afterwards I decided that I wanted to dedicate my spare time to music and not make a professional career out of it. My method of teaching is very an easy one. I start off by teaching them the correct way to breath. I will also require them to do some breathing excerises. Once I feel they understand how to breath well. I then will teach them how to sing.
