My name is Yuh-Boh and I have been playing the saxophone for 16 years and seriously began learning the saxophone when I began in college. I graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelors in Music Performance and recently graduated from New England Conservatory with a Masters in Saxophone Performance. My dream is to be able to play music and maybe even travel across the country and perhaps....the WORLD! I have years working with prominent ensembles and even community bands. Read More

I am an Italian violinist with more than twenty years of concert music experience in Europe, the United States and Latin America. I trained from classical music, but soon I started my journey through folk and etnic music, starting from the music of the mountains of my region to get to Balkan and gypsy music. I have recorded 4 albums and countless tours with Italian French and Mexican international bands (Taluna, Guajiro Calentano, Circo Zoé .. Read More

Instruments: Trumpet Trombone Euphonium French Horn Tuba Music
I've been teaching the brass instruments for over 30 years, and I love to teach my students! I teach all ages, and I tailor my teaching to the student's own pace and abilities. I'm very good at sizing up students and telling them exactly what they need to do to instantly improve their playing. I also include some education in music theory as part of our lessons. I assist and encourage my students to become the best musicians they can be, which includes learning different styles of music, composing their own music, and preparing for auditions and competitions. Instruments: Piano Music Keyboard
For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Faber's Piano Adventures or Suzuki's Piano School, however I am open to other books. Faber focuses more on written and piano practice whereas Suzuki focuses on auditory learning and piano practice. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. Read More
Instruments: Guitar Classical Guitar Acoustic Guitar
I started and loved to play the guitar since when I was 12 years old. I started out by self teaching myself how to play the style called "Finger-Style" on the steel string acoustic guitar and posted videos of myself playing this style on the instrument on YouTube. I was able to progress fast by posting videos consistently, and I had collected a big following as well. After a few years, my interest and love had grown for the classical nylon strung guitar and I continued to pursue it in a collegiate level. Read More
Instruments: Double Bass
My teaching experience has not been particularly extensive professionally. I have taught privately on and off since I was 20, however I have never really had the time to pursue it the way I am now that I am out of school. With younger students, we work slowly and reach milestones confidently to ensure the student feels they are achieving something while we work to promote healthy playing habits that won't lead to injury down the path.
