My first experience teaching began in 2014 when I began working marching band camps as the flute tech. I was responsible for helping the students learn marching fundamentals and drill for the show, in addition to running music related sectionals with the flute section daily. It was a very enriching experience to teach for such a young age, and very challenging to have so many students in the same class room! I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Teaching is my passion and calling, i can't think of doing anything else! In 2013 I graduated from Fairfield University with a triple major in English, Gender Studies, and Violin Performance. While studying at University I started my band with my sister, Verdigrls. We have gone on to put out an EP, play all over the NY metropolitan area as well as have our music featured in movies and television.
