I like to start by exploring where the student is at in their musical education and what they are looking to study in private lessons. From there, we build the lesson around them! Once we’ve established where to begin, I’ll ask the student to choose a piece they’d like to perform and I’ll assign them a piece of my own choice as well. Since then, I have graduated and am now attending UNF and assisting the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra. I currently have two students who participate in the youth orchestra and I adore it.
