I'm a passionate musician who loves composing original works and inspiring other people to fall in love with music. Despite the lack of formal degrees in a music related major, I've been certified to teach piano and have substituted for piano teachers on multiple occasions. I collaborate with local musicians that include drummers, guitarists, singers, and bassists and love to perform in front of audiences. This means lessons will be tailored to each student's interest, while still following a structured progression to help them gradually advance. All students will be guided through long tones, scales, technical studies, etudes, and solo pieces. Students at higher levels may also include orchestral excerpts. My teaching experience dates back to my freshman year of college in 2013. I began teaching snare drum and drum set to one private student. As time went on through my undergraduate studies, I had a studio of twenty lessons students. Coupled with private lessons, I gained experience teaching high school percussion ensembles and I was a percussion instructor for marching bands.
