Along with how you practice, how much you practice is also important. One thing I always stress to my students is that it has to be something that you can fit into your schedule. I have participated in the BU Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Orchestra and the Texas Festival Orchestra at the Round Top Festival Institute. At Juilliard, I have performed in Alice Tully Hall with the Juilliard Orchestra, the New Juilliard Ensemble, the AXIOM ensemble. In my free time, I participate in community outreach through benefit concerts and as a member of the United Nations Chamber Music Society, the United Nations charity chamber music series that raises money for the United Nations Refugee Fund.
