After having a good foundation for the fundamentals, I will move on to the Hanon book which explores technical exercises, scales, and arpeggios. Students will learn repertoire that will range from contemporary genres to classical genres. Organ: A piano background would be preferred. I teach step by step and build slowly so the student learns discipline and also become well balanced in music vocabulary.
