For beginning students, I primarily use scale cycle, and some of Suzuki Music to start with the ear opening to how the sound or melody work can be done and see how it can be applied from the scale work we do on the technical practice. I try to find what student want from the overall lesson time because that set up the different goal for different student. I am currently writing doctoral dissertation titled "A Performer's Guide to the Prepared Piano of John Cage: The 1930s to 1950s." to complete DMA program by December 2018. I had the privilege of learning from great teachers including Awadagin Pratt, Joshua Russell, and Hyejeon Lee. I was also coached with Ariel Quartet for chamber music and performed in masterclasses for Aviram Reichert, John O'Conor, Min-kyung Kwon, Boaz sharon, Yong-hee Moon, Alexander Korsantia and Yoshikazu Nagai, among many others.
