Music has NEVER failed me. They say a dog is a man's best friend because he does not talk back.I say an instrument is a man's best friend to a higher degree, because when it speaks, it speaks what you are telling it to say. The instrument can NOT speak with out the musician's direction. To this day, my childhood teacher is a lifelong mentor in many facets of life and I strive for this relationship with my students as well. Read More

My philosophy of music education is to provide students with meaningful and relevant experiences. Every individual has a personal connection with music, and as an educator, I wish to further explore that connection. Music is a form of communication and expressions; it is an outlet for one to better understand themselves as well as the world around them. I look forward to making music with my students, and to work with them to find their own personal means of musical fulfillment. Read More

For my teaching goals I like to help my students learn the instrument from the basic fundamentals. I believe music is like building a house and it is important to start with fundamentals in order to construct a strong foundation for musical knowledge. I like to teach proper technique and playing standards so my students will learn correctly and not have to go back and relearn things and relearn their technique. Read More
Instruments: Voice
I have exercises for every vocal issue, and I believe in a comfortable amount of daily practice and focused work. I like to start out with music that's easy for students to sing in order for him or her to learn technique in a comfortable way, and I keep all kinds of music with me at home to have fun with and explore. Singing is great for your body and your mind! Read More

My teaching experience started while in college. I began teaching a couple of students and friends private lessons. It was sparse but definitively gave me an good idea of how it was to be some sort of a coach to help find the "inner drummer" in my students. After graduating from Berklee, I stayed in Boston and taught drumset, percussion, and piano at the Boston School of Music. It was a much more formal way of teaching, and I enjoyed that experience very much, and it made me realize even more that teaching is very natural and rewarding to me--from the early stages of developing a curriculum, to carrying it out while making it fun and accessible,to seeing the students having fun playing live shows. Instruments: Piano Violin Music
I have been teaching for 5 years to a wide range of ages. I take an individualistic approach to teaching, tailoring my lessons to my students. I teach violin for all levels and beginner/intermediate piano. I encourage all my students to learn how to read music and have a basic understanding of theory. I prefer a mix of a musical and technical approach and encourage a slow but steady timeline for learning. Read More

I am a piano instructor who is always passionate and excited about teaching the art of playing the piano. Since 2007 till now, I always love to monitor the little weekly progress of my students turn into a huge development in their musicianship. I grew up playing Bach, Beethoven, and a variety of classical composer. In my teens I started learning all the pop songs, and playing with a variety of cover bands, and church choirs in Egypt.
