I will provide students with diagrams on what is called guitar tablature, which is the easiest way to read music for guitar, for various chords and scales. My teaching experiance has been mainly one one one. I've never given group lessons mainly because you can't totally focus on the student when there are several people involved. The best teaching/learning situation is the individual lesson where the focus is on one person. All my lessons are with one individual. Working for a local drum teacher in 2005, I started teaching private music lessons in students' homes. From there, I took up residence at a local music store where I taught guitar, ukulele, bass, harmonica, songwriting, and music theory for the next fifteen years. During the pandemic, I added teaching virtually to my repertoire and have fallen in love with it.
