I believe each student is unique, and aim to help the student fall deeper in love with the guitar by meeting them where they are at with their own interests and desires with the instrument. I have had multiple different instructors throughout my life, and some of them seem to have had their own agenda and what they wanted me to be learning. I try to focus on the students interests as much as possible. Lastly, I use rythym training a lot with all my students. If it's not played in time, It's not music yet. We will work together to get it where it needs to be! I use real drum loops and other media for this. This dramatically increases the students feel for the pulse of the music.
