But when working with beginners, I tend to focus mostly on developing a good internal sense of rhythm and good listening skills. If my student has a more "just for fun" attitude, the lesson will inevitably be a more light hearted feel. I'm a passionate music educator with considerable experience as a teacher and performer. I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2005 where I studied music education with an emphasis on trombone.
