I am a passionate musician who loves to share knowledge of music to students. I started learning guitar at age 5, and for nearly 20 years guitar has been my instrument of choice! I'm a 2 time graduate from Musicians Institute where I was awarded with a scholarship. I majored in Guitar Performance and Independent Artist. In 2015 I was accepted to perform with the schools Honors Ensemble. My musical journey started at the age of 8. I took classical piano lessons for about 5 to 6 years and during that time, I learned about the fundamentals and building blocks of music theory as well as how to read, sight-read, and transpose music. My love for music though began when I picked up the guitar at age 13.
