My musical journey started at the age of 8. I took classical piano lessons for about 5 to 6 years and during that time, I learned about the fundamentals and building blocks of music theory as well as how to read, sight-read, and transpose music. My love for music though began when I picked up the guitar at age 13. I had always naturally gravitated towards the guitar because of its portability (compared to the piano) as well as the full sound it was able to yield despite being a smaller instrument coupled with the fact that there are some many interesting styles and ways to play it. I have a love for all kinds of music and look forward to teaching people that have the same. From country to rock, or whatever makes students want to pick up the instrument is what I'll use to teach them what they need and want to learn on the guitar. I always push students so they can reach their goals on the instrument. I will always give homework that will push them, but I make sure that I set a pace that they can handle. Read More

It’s always been my dream to learn music, then perform and teach. And like a good student under the tutelage master musicians of the past, I’m passing on the art to others. All while making my own lesson plans that cater to the student. It’s an endless river of knowledge and fun. Music was innate in me from my family of performers and curators. Private instruction taught me the language; jamming taught me how to implement what I had learned. Read More
