During my college years, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant which allowed me to help students primarily in music. Part of my duties included teaching smaller classes and tutoring students in music theory and ear training. I am pursuing my Bachelor of Music in Flute at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music as a student of Randy Bowman, Principal Flute of the Cincinnati Symphony. My personal musical highlights include performances with the CCM Philharmonia, Wind Orchestra, and Chamber Players. You can also find me in the pit orchestras for many theaters in Cincinnati. I began teaching in Mississippi in 2011 to college students at the University of Southern Mississippi. After moving to Cincinnati, I began teaching preschool music. I began developing a preschool curriculum at the University of Cincinnati's Preparatory Program that combined reading, dancing, singing and imagining. After teaching privately for a year, I began my position as Executive Director of the Cincinnati Outreach (COR) Music Project.
