For beginners students, I start with Trevor Wye's Beginners Book for Flute, as well as Rubank's selected duets (Volume 1), and Marcel Moyse The Debutante Flutist. Once we have covered the basic foundations of the flute and have formed a core sound, I then introduce solo repertoire that is appropriate for the students. I started playing flute when I was 7 years old and I've dedicate my life to music since then. I graduated from the Hight Conservatory of Music in Oviedo (Spain) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Flute Performance, and from the International University of La Rioja (Spain) with a Master's Degree in Education. I've been working as a music teacher for the last 10 years, teaching flute, music theory and orchestra, to students all ages, at the same time that I've continued performing with different orchestras and bands, as the main flutist or soloist. .I am passionate about music and the transforming power it has in people's lives. I have Suzuki teacher training in Flute Book one from East Tennesse University in 1996. I have my Masters in Education from Lehigh University. Currently I am the Music Specialist for Lehigh University's Child Care Center, and I direct the Youth Choir at St. Theresa Parish in Hellertown. I perform with the Moravian College Collegium Musicum and sing with the Allentown Diocesan Choir.  I am currently Licensed to Teach MusikGarten and plan to hold a class this Fall for 3-5 year olds.
