I love teaching private lessons, and I have 12 years of experience doing so.  I have been playing flute for 26 years, and I earned my Bachelor's in Music Education and Flute Performance from SUNY Fredonia, and my Master's degree in Flute Performance from the Hartt School. In 2005, he won the 1st prize at the Houston flute club, Denise Jennings Memorial Solo & Ensemble Competition Professional level, also has selected one of 5 finalists of the Byron Hester memorial competition. His most recent recital includes Duo Indiana 2011 in a sold out performance with pianist Akiko Iguchi in Japan, and Back to Baroque with the Renovo String Orchestra at the Music Institute of Chicago September 2011. Most recent performance includes Duo Reital in Tokyo, Japan with pianist Vladimir Valjarevic in August 2012, "Sonatas And Birds."
