I started playing at very young age and since the very beginning of my career I had the honor of touring with many prestigious woodwind orchestras and to perform all around Europe in venues like the Palau De La Musica in Valencia (Spain), The Music Certament of Kerkrade (Netherlands) and many others. I started teaching in 2012, I took some time off after school and traveled to Shanghai-China. There I taught at Rubato Music, a private music studio. I gave lessons to children and adults, had my first experience introducing the instrument to novice students. I took notes from colleague and learned from more experienced teachers on ways to better explain/demonstrate lesson material. There's a thing about certain musicians who have made it very far. For example, Charlie Parker never would've been Charlie Parker if Jo Jones didn't chuck a cymbal at him when he messed up. He never would've wanted to sit and practice for hours and hours a day to become who he became. I've been teaching woodwinds and strings for about 8 years now, to students of all ages and abilities. In that time, I've worked with students making their very first sounds, all the way to helping my students successfully audition for university music programs (often receiving scholarship!). My training and certification in Music Therapy gives me an additional perspective on how music and musical ideas can be used to improve and assist all aspects of life, and in particular I enjoy working with students who possess learning or developmental difficulties.
