This allows students to start from the very beginning, especially if the student does not have previous music reading experience. I teach reading and playing hand in hand so that it becomes a memorized process. In college I had the opportunity to direct and teach a community flute choir for adults. Currently I teach private and group lessons to high school students through the Boston Public Public School District.
