Therefore, when I start with a student, I always ask how much they want to improve and how quickly, how important music is to them, and how much time they're willing to invest daily. I started teaching in 2012, I took some time off after school and traveled to Shanghai-China. There I taught at Rubato Music, a private music studio. I gave lessons to children and adults, had my first experience introducing the instrument to novice students. I took notes from colleague and learned from more experienced teachers on ways to better explain/demonstrate lesson material.
