Music has been my life for so long and it is my passion! I started reading sheet music when I was 4. I started to learn Piano when I was 5. At age 7 I started learning basic Music Theory. At age 10, I began my journey with Flute and I have been playing ever since! I have played with the Arlington Community Orchestra, Flower Mound Philharmonic Orchestra, Flower Mound Flute Choir, TWU Wind Symphony, TWU Flute Choir, TWU Jazz band, TWU Pep band, and recently became a sub for the Mesquite Symphony.  Read More

In high school I had the great privilege of being selected as the Principal clarinetist in the Minnesota All-State Band. We performed at the summer camp designed for these groups and recreated our performance at Orchestra Hall, home of the Minnesota Orchestra, the following spring. Clarinet is my primary instrument and first love. I also teach saxophone and beginning flute and hope to add other woodwinds in the future. I taught throughout my time in college as well. I took a short break after graduating with my master's but have since returned to teaching in the Rockwall area. Once the student gets in track, I start introducing more advanced book such Rubank, J.H Luft, H.Klose and Feerling. For adults and more advanced students, most likely I develop a custom guide and protocol based on what their focus of interest is.
