Over time, that passion expanded into the world of jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms, where I fell in love with groove, feel, and the deeper musical conversations that happen on the drums. This is done by setting realistic goals for each student at each lesson, keeping them inspired and interested in learning more. When you acknowledge students based on their accomplishments, it helps to fuel them a desire to progress and make them interested in learning more.
